How Running Saved My Life

Being a runner with a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) means I never give up. Every step I take is a reminder of my determination to overcome challenges. Running brings stability and routine to my life, helping me find a sense of control. It's about setting goals, accepting my limitations, and cherishing every small victory along the way.

I'm excited to share that I've become a Lululemon ambassador. As an ambassador, I'll embody the brand's values and inspire others, while also speaking at schools about the importance of mental fitness. I'm honored to have this opportunity to connect with students, sharing my story and promoting resilience and well-being for a brighter future.

Hi! I’m Kevin, the CoffeyRunner!

My running journey all started when I was hit by a car and flew through the air 100 metres, landing on my head.

Today I can proudly say that I have run over 7 marathons and have competed with some of the top Canadian runners.

Running saved my life.

About Kevin Coffey

Coaching to me is like taking a journey, along with my athletes, to their personal bests. I really enjoy seeing each athlete achieve their goals. I use my experiences as a professional runner and the last two decades of traumatic brain injury rehabilitation.

At the end of the day, I want to use the tools I learned through my TBI to help others work past their limits both as an athlete, coach and an individual.
